Our Goal
Our goal is quite simple: Spread the love of CSS throughout the Webs community in order to create more beautiful webites. We also help with more advanced things like PHP, JS, SQL, and more, but we still stay with our roots in CSS. Nevertheless, If you ask a PHP question in the forums, you will quickly find that we will still help you code whatever you dream.

FAQ
Where can I get this wordpress theme?
Although it seems that we are built on wordpress, we actually are built from scratch. every part of the code was coded by one of the admins, or was implemented by us into our own proprietary CMS.
How did you get such a weird name?
AlterPoser suggested the first name of "Nimpla", but it seemed a little off, so we continued to search until we founded templa. Everything was great until we went to try to get the domain for it, at this point, we all decided to go with templ.us.

Template Submission GuidelinesLast Updated: 12/3/10
Copyrights
One of the first things a Templus Admin will look at when approving your tempalte will be if it is original. In other words, your template MUST be:
*When making your template it is best to use your own idea and make your own image. Then you will not have to worry about breaking any copyright laws.
- Your own work
- All images must be your or be licensed to you, and for distribution.
- Any other elements in your template must not be copyrighted.

Layout
Layout is crucial to your template's feel, and should be the largest focus when designing. Things to remember:
You may also want to read about the "F-Layout".
- The sidebar is not below the content
- Navbar, sidebar, and content are aligned and not scattered about the page.
- Footer is aligned and not just sitting anywhere on the page.
- Text should be in their boxes, no text or content should feel out of place.

Images
In any design, not properly using images could ruin the meaning behind a piece of artwork (or in this case a template). Templus suggests a few rules to follow when using images in your templates:
- Do not overuse images - it could slow down the load of your webpage
- Make sure all URL's to your images are valid and do not produce a 404 (not found) errors
- Be sure your images flow seamlessly in the design
- Make sure your images are relavant, and complement each other in color. Please no more bright pink (We really do get plenty of those submissions)
I followed the above guidelines, why is my template not showing?
- An admin may have found a bug in your code.
- An admin believes your template may be in violation of international copyright law.
- Your template has not been yet approved. This process may take up to 2 weeks.
